AUGUST MARKETS

Our August markets were our favourite yet, the weather was finally warm enough to set up the stalls outdoors in the beer gardens, amongst the sunshine, right across the road from Terrigal Beach - the sunshine coupled with the beautiful fresh ocean breeze was the perfect start to such a wonderful day!

We really weren’t expecting so many visitors and such positive reception! The markets were buzzing from before we had even finished setting up the stall!  It's hard to believe this is work when we have so much fun - especially when we get to enjoy gourmet meals & Cider whilst working amongst the sunshine.

We really hope those of you who stopped in enjoyed it and love your new vintage treasures. Here’s some photos that we managed to quickly snapped before we opened! we can’t wait till next month! oh, and we are also looking into doing some Sydney markets during Spring/Summer, fingers crossed we can get ourselves a spot!

A VISIT TO BONDI MARKET

We awoke to a beautiful sunny day on Sunday, there was no way we could stay indoors! so we decided to take a day trip to visit some Sydney markets. We headed to Rozelle first, as we’d been told it’s specifically all second-hand/vintage & antiques.

Unfortunately we hit a very random hailstorm before we got there - so many of the stalls were packing up as we arrived, but we still had a look around and found a few wonderful hidden treasures!
We then headed to Bondi markets, which were buzzing and had so much amazing art, and independent designers, and some amazing vintage stores down the back.

I wish I took more photos now, but was so caught up looking through all the amazing racks of clothes, so here’s just a snippet of our visit to the markets:

 

 

SPRING CREATIONS

I decided to stay in on a Friday night, eat thai, watch dvds, and have a bit of a creative craft night - experimenting with our vintage denim, to make a new range of shorts for this spring. I'm so happy with what I’ve created, and can’t wait to get them up in store.

So here is a sneak peek of the new denim, each pair is unique and has it’s own charm. We hope you like them, because I can’t wait to make more!
